Solana chart history: ranges, pools and missing data
All asks for the available history across the connected sources. It does not certify that every trade since the token’s creation or bonding phase has been recorded. The coverage panel explains what the chart actually contains.
Read the coverage before the shape
The coverage panel shows the first and last returned timestamps, the point count and the sources used. Multi-year axes include the year. These details help distinguish an old token from a recently created pool or a source with limited historical access.
A gap can represent missing coverage or a period without recorded trades. The terminal does not invent prices to fill it.
Pool changes can split the history
A token can move from bonding into a pool, migrate to another venue or trade in several pools. The chart attempts known historical pools in time order and can discover additional indexed pools. A source failure should not stop other sources from being tried.
The price can differ across pools. A stitched chart combines observations; it is not a proof that every holder could have traded at every displayed price.
Daily price samples are not OHLCV candles
If pool candles cannot provide the earlier period, available CoinGecko daily prices can extend the view. These points are marked as samples: they do not supply the day’s true open, high, low or traded volume.
Indicators that depend on those fields may be incomplete. Read the source label when comparing a sampled period with real pool candles.
Retry and access limits
Interrupted loads offer a retry. Long loads have a page budget and can continue through the history control. Provider plan limits, tracking start dates and unindexed bonding activity can still leave earlier periods unavailable.
Opening All or retrying does not change the selected wallet or submit a trade. A chart’s historical coverage and a quote’s current execution conditions answer different questions.
Questions and answers
Why can All stop before the token was created?
Its connected sources may not have indexed the earlier bonding phase or may restrict historical access. All loads available data, not fabricated missing history.
Can daily price samples establish intraday highs and volume?
No. Those fields are unavailable in a single daily price sample. The chart labels the sample period and its limitations.
These guides describe product behaviour and data limitations. They do not recommend a token, promise a successful trade or guarantee a financial result.
