Solana token security scanner: MASTRscan

A token ticker does not tell you who can mint more supply, freeze accounts or sell into a thin pool. MASTRscan brings those questions into the same report as the price, holders and available trading route.

01

Start with the mint address

Paste the Solana mint address into MASTRcheck. A name or ticker can be copied, so check the address before interpreting the report. The token view brings together market data, security checks, holders, pools and supporting research.

The public token page is a saved scan with a visible observation time. Open the live report when you need current data; a saved result is not a current quote.

02

Read the individual checks

MASTRscan covers market conditions, token authorities, holders, origin, behaviour and launch activity. The report distinguishes passed checks, warnings, risks, critical findings and unavailable readings. It shows the source and observation time rather than turning absent data into a pass.

  • Authorities and permissions: minting, freezing and relevant Token-2022 extensions.
  • Supply and holders: large positions, creator exposure and observed wallet relationships.
  • Market and execution: liquidity, price changes, available sell routes and estimated exit impact.
  • Origin and launch: creator information and recorded early-buyer patterns where data is available.
03

Understand the summary

The summary is calculated from the available checks. Critical requires an individual critical check when there is enough coverage to assign a rating. Multiple warning counts alone do not establish a critical event. High and Elevated findings still require attention.

A shared funder or presale distributor does not establish that several wallets have the same owner. Read the relationship and its evidence. A risk rating is not a finding of fraud, and an old token is not automatically safe.

04

Keep the evidence and its limitations

Use the source links and timestamps to distinguish a current permission from a historical observation. Revisit liquidity and the quote before deciding on an amount. A passed scan cannot guarantee future liquidity, a successful sale or the behaviour of a token team.

Questions and answers

Does a Low rating mean a token is safe?

No. It describes the available checks at their observation times. Missing coverage, later changes and risks outside the checks remain possible.

Can I read a scan without connecting a wallet?

Public saved token reports can be read without a wallet connection. Connecting a wallet is a separate step for wallet actions.

These guides describe product behaviour and data limitations. They do not recommend a token, promise a successful trade or guarantee a financial result.
